The purpose and mission of "Children of the Tsunami", is to continue to help the rebuilding of Sri Lanka, with the focus being the orphaned children who were left with nothing by the devastation of the Tsunami.
This website will also be a source of information to update the generous donors of how their generosity and kindness is being utilized in helping the children. Every precious child sponsored will be featured on the website.
This project was started by two friends, who were fortunate and blessed to survive that terrible day, on the beaches of Bentota, Sri Lanka. To be a part of the recovery process and give a second chance to an orphaned child as we were given is truly a blessing.
To be a long-term presence in the lives of the, Children of the Tsunami in Sri Lanka as well as all the other affected countries in the region.
To use this tragic event as an opportunity to educate and unite the future of these countries, the children, who will forever be linked through this tragedy.
